WEEK4 INDEPENDENT STUDY

This week I learned a lot of techniques to make my island more realistic. Before my terrain is with a low resolution texture and made the island looks very strange, but this week I improve the textures to make it look much better. Due to the cryengine system, I failed to log in to the engine, so that I do not have any document to show in this blog. The error message said my password is incorrect.

Reflection

This week i had devoped my island in more detail, before my island only had vegetation but there are no houses, which looks a bit boring, now i had improve my island with some waterfall and other movable things, which make my island more vivid.

Reflection
This week i had learned about how to make my terrain more realistic. I had watched the tutorials online and start download some images to custom my own island. But  i had quite a few attempts to do the textures, if one step is missing,then the texture can not show up in cryengine properly.

This island has amazing beautifulcrystal clear azure seas, travelers can get on a boat and explore the mountains among the sea, it gives people a sense of lonely and scare when they are surrounded by different mountains.

The mountains layers next to the lake which has a very quite sense to the traveler.

This place is very beautiful in the winter morning, it looks like it is in a fairy tale environment with white snow surrounded, the rime are hanging on the trees and there is also a little river surrounded by.

Week1 Reflection

I think the Cryengine is a very powerful tool that can create a extremely realistic environment, it is not only allow me to explore how to use the software, but it can let me to know how different layers of objects combine together can become a good scene.
